3ND, combination of number and letters to signify 'TREND' i.e a new tendency, both as far as type of furniture is concerned and, more in general, as a rediscovered method of work. Not anymore complicated combinations with shaped working surfaces, but a more natural simplicity both of shapes and compositions, creating working spaces that are, at the same time, simple but not less enjoyable. Sober and modern lines characterise 3ND design, that therefore results a collection of essential and naturally elegant elements. As far as Giaiotti is concerned, 3ND means also a return to a product philosophy already expressed not long ago with other successfully lines, of which only a few shape marks can be recognised. The leit motive of the design is definitively the combination between the triangular section steel profile, obtained by roll shaping, and the rectangular section steel profile/s connecting the leg uprights, according to the different utilisation of the program, in the two versions: Executive (.EXE) or Operative (.OP). For the first option, the combinations of materials foreseen are steel-wood and/or steel-glass. Also, as far as chromatisms are concerned, 3ND presents innovative proposals regarding both painting colours and veneers / crystals / laminates, as well as natural materials, like leather for some accessories for the Executive version, placing it on a level of elegant prestige. 3ND is also rich of accessories to support the wide range of electronic equipments nowadays utilised in all offices, such as cable housing, pre-wired extractable towers complete with electrical, telephone or data sockets, allowing practical and quick changes of utilisers in the same working stations. The program is completed by a wide range of containers of tested functionality and practicalness, elegantly personalised by accessories with nice and modern shapes and finishes.
